~ comprehensive therapeutic massage
Massage Therapy is defined as manipulation of the soft tissues of the body with the hands for therapeutic, healing, and relaxing effects.I specialize in what I call `Comprehensive Integrative Massage' and incorporate various techniques, (including, but not limited to: Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Manipulation, Myofascial Release, Lomi Lomi, Vibration, Energetic Healing, etc).
My intention is to assist my clients in allowing their body to release the physical effects of daily living, trauma, injury, and stress, with a conscious understanding of how they may be connected. My pace is slower and deep, utilizing longer stokes and forearms whenever possible.
The benefits of therapeutic massage are significant and been proven to positively effect every aspect of the body, mind and spirit. Clients are usually undressed on a warm comfortable massage table, draped with a sheet and blanket, and lotion is used on the skin.
I also offer clothed seated chair massage as well, (which is a wonderful option for public events, businesses and parties), and $35 Wednesdays if money is an issue.

Chair massage has quickly become one of the most popular and requested benefits in the workplace today. The physical and emotional stressors of extended hours sitting hunched at the computer desk, dealing with clients, making critical decisions, or performing repetative tasks have made all forms of work-related stress reduction increasingly important for any business.
Some eye-opening stats:Studies show that office workers who are massaged regularly, even for 15 minutes once a week, are more alert, perform better, and are overall less stressed than those who are not massaged.
The direct benefits of chair massage for employees include:
* reduced anxiety * fatigue relief * increased morale * increased immune response * improved problem solving * decreased repetitive stress injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, migraine headaches, and inter-scapular pain * increased flexibility
The benefits of chair massage for organizations include:
* increased retention * improved productivity and morale * decreased absenteeism * recruitment benefit * improved job satisfaction * improved organizational health * fewer job-related accidents * improved organizational well-being
My chair massage focuses on the highly stressed, upper body areas; primarily head, neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands. This fully clothed massage lasts about fifteen minutes, and no lotion is used. Following a massage, clients feel relaxed and refreshed, able to go back to work with a new positive attitude.
Chair massage is a wonderful addition to any store-front, company picnic or event. I can provide multiple therapists for larger events, too. Conventions, company picnics, wedding parties, teacher appreciation, fund-raisers, concerts, shows, plays, etc. The list goes on.
Chair Massage Referral Program: If you are responsible for setting up regular (weekly, monthly, etc) chair massage at your place of business, you will receive a free full session of your choice, following three independent days of chair massage at your business.
Plus your co-workers will thank you.
